2hearts...lots of exciting stuff!

Ok, so maybe "stuff" isn't the best descriptor, but 2hearts is really excited to start planning for all our 2010 weddings, plus we have other "stuff" in the works to make the winter months go by with plenty of wedding related fun to be had. We are very pleased to be working on plenty of Save the Dates for next summer's brides. If you are looking for an invitation vendor, 2hearts wants to talk to you! We are now offering 20% off Save the Date orders when you sign a Design Contract for 2010! It's a great deal and a great way to get your wedding designs started.

We are also very excited to be a new member of Wedding Wire. Now you can veiw our store front, leave reviews, see other vendors we recommend and much more. We would also like to remind everyone to join our facebook fan page, as well as follow us on twitter. We are still figuring out how we would like to use these most effectivly to both reach out to new brides as well as help you out in the process of planning your wedding. Let us know what you think we should tweet about or leave suggestions for topics on our fan page.

Finally we are hosting a booth at the 3rd Annual Wedding Show and Tell and can't wait to post more about booth prep and new invite ideas. If you are looking for a great wedding show to attend, check out the Wedding Show and Tell. It's at the Milwaukee Zoo and we can't wait!

Finally here is a photo from our recent trip to Seattle where we attend a great design conference. We had a blast and came back revitalized and inspired!

That's all for now, email us at info@2hearts1design or fill out our contact form to request info, make a suggestion or just to say "hey". See ya soon!

Congrats Jenna and Joe!

Jenna and Joe are getting married tomorrow, September 26th and we can not be happier for them! We are so thankful that this cute couple let us be a part of their wedding day! Jenna and Joe's wedding colors were red and black and they wanted a modern, elegant design to compliment their decor. Jenna was such a great client! She is a traditional bride with a funky side and we wanted to bring a little of her sparkling personality through in her custom pocket invites.

Printed on shimmering cream stock and accented with red graphics, these invites are sophisticated and classic . Each pocket folder has three information cards: Directions, Reception, RSVP. The front of each packet is sealed with a custom monogram sticker.

Here are some assembly photos. Their order also included Thank You Cards and printed monogram cards that Jenna used for table numbers and menu cards.

We hope your wedding day is full of fun and we wish you all the best.
Cheers! To Jenna and Joe!

Photo Guest Book!

I just got my new photo guest book and I was so excited I just had to blog about it :) It's so perfect!

Ok, so you're probably wanting some background so here we go: I wanted to do a photo guest book because I just thought the idea made the whole guest book concept more personal and it can also be designed to match the theme of the event. So I set out to find a good vendor/easy program in order to get my photo guest book for my wedding. I found one I liked and got designing!

There a many options to choose from but I decided on an image wrap cover on premium paper stock. There are 20 pages with alternating photo and blank pages for people to sign/leave a message.

I can't wait to have this special keepsake for years to come. It's going to be a wonderful way to look back on our wedding and our past :) Hope you enjoyed! If you want to add a photo guest book to your custom event order, just email us at: info@2hearts1design.com

We'd love to make a special photo guest book for you too.

Yeah! Amanda and Tim!

Happy 4th of July everyone! Well, happy Monday after, we are a little late on this post. Sorry for the hiatus, but 2hearts has been busy! We aren't complaining though :) Anyway, this weekend was a very special wedding, the Orth wedding! Amanda and Tim are great friends of ours and we wanted to Congratulate them and also thank them for letting us help make their day special. What a great wedding and beautiful weekend it was. It's not often that we get to see the end result of our work, but since Amanda and Tim are friends we got to be at the wedding. Here's the compilation of all the wonderful stationary this couple inspired us to make:

This design was so fun and fit perfectly with the robbin's egg blue bridesmaids dresses and white box centerpieces. We hope everyone enjoyed the festivities of the holiday weekend. Good luck and happy honeymoon Amanda and Tim! Here's the first glimps of the newlyweds:

So fun!

So I had to post the link to this story because it was just to fun not to share! A group called ImprovEverywhere causes scenes of chaos and joy in public places. Created in August of 2001 by Charlie Todd, Improv Everywhere has executed over 80 missions involving thousands of undercover agents. The group is based in New York City.

As I was surfing for wedding related things this afternoon I came across this story for a "Surprise Wedding Reception" and I just had to read more. Please follow the link to see the full story, hopefully it will bring a smile to your face just like it did to mine.

My only qualm is that they didn't have any wedding stationary made up for the occasion :)

Congrats Kake!

It's memorial day weekend and besides the obvious reason to celebrate (no work Monday!) it is also a very special weekend for Karen and Jake! They are getting married Sunday and we at 2hearts just wanted to send a little shout out and a lot of love for this wonderful couple. We hope it is a joyous day and that the memories will last you a lifetime. Thanks for letting 2hearts be a part of making your new dreams come true.

Invitations in progress...

Hey 2heart followers :) We are getting closer everyday to launching the website! We just got proofs back from the printer for our amazing new brochure and on top of all of that we are finishing up a few of our upcoming invitation orders. whew!

Anyway, some of you may not know that on top of creating other peoples invitations and bridal stationary, I am also creating my own. I, Naomi, am getting married on August 8th and can't wait! We have been preparing for over a year and it seems as the date gets closer time moves into warp speed. So I have been working hard trying to get my invites out to all our eager guests. Here is a sneak peak at the assembling table, I'll post a more detailed description with pictures once they are all done and out. Enjoy.

Sneak Peak

Just wanted to give you a sneak peak of some of the exciting designs that will be featured on our new website! We are still working on getting the site up and running...just a few more tweaks, but we should be announcing the launch within the next few days! In the mean time these little tid bits should hold you over:
This is a wedding invite for a destination wedding in Jamaica. It is designed like a luggage tag and has 4 tabs that feature the invite itself, hotel information and a schedule for the wedding weekend.

This funky invite was designed for a hip couple who love modern design. It has typography elements running through the background that give it a great texture. Definitely not your traditional invite. We are always willing to push the boundaries and give you something unique and unexpected.

Alright, this isn't an invite, but it's just so cool! This is a card for a bridesmaid get together. Each bridesmaid received one that detailed the get together schedule and information about what was to be done on the day. The list included; making decorations, planning the bridal shower and ordering bridesmaid dresses.

Well we hope you enjoy our designs. We are looking up fresh ideas all the time, so check back soon. Can't wait to share even more and to get the website link to you!
